About The Franklinton Career Center
Located on the west side of Columbus, Ohio in the historic Franklinton
neighborhood, the Franklinton Career Center is a limited liability corporation
established in May 2001 by Indira R. Mulligan, J.D.
Initially the school was established to help those in need, or who were living
at or below the poverty level. Today the school has evolved into a diverse
career center available to everyone.
To implement the Franklinton Career Center philosophy, we have established the
following objectives:
▪
To maximize educational opportunities through an
open-door policy of recruitment.
▪
To employ qualified instructors who are effective
in the classroom, competent in their area of
expertise, and familiar with
current trends in the computer and business fields.
▪
To develop a professional attitude and awareness
of the profession through exposure to
course work content, professional
certification, and business training for all students.
▪
To graduate students who are proficient in their
area of study and in their interpersonal skills.
Our curriculum offers cutting edge technology training to both youth and adults.
Through our contact with Franklin County Jobs and Family Services (WIA - Youth
