 Counseling and Advising
In addition to training, the Franklinton
Career Center also provides counseling, and prepares the student for their job
search.
On a regular basis, the administrators and faculty of the Franklinton Career
Center counsel students on an individual basis, both on their academic and
interpersonal progress.
If we foresee a problem, we try to intervene at an early stage. The purpose of
counseling and advising is to help students work through personal and academic
problems that may become barriers to their success.
Students are taught how to dress for success, how to conduct a proper interview,
and to perform a successful job search.
