Grievance Procedures If a student has a grievance against another student or faculty member they are encouraged to discuss their grievance with an administrative member. The administrative member will take the appropriate action. It is the desire of FCC to work out any disagreements and/or complaints that may arise with a student in an amicable manner. Therefore, students are asked to comply with the following procedure: Informal Complaint ‑ An informal complaint concerns a problem that a student may encounter regarding the faculty, another student, curriculum, etc. We suggest that students talk to the instructor first if it is a classroom‑type problem. If a solution is not reached, then proceed to discuss it with the Director. All complaints that come to the attention of the Director will be evaluated and a solution reached and all parties notified of the decision. If a student feels that his or her complaint was not resolved, then they have a right notify our approval agency (John Ware, Director of the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools, 35 E. Gay Street, Columbus, OH 43215, Phone (614) 466-2752). The Franklinton Career Center will endeavor to maintain the highest possible educational standards in the industry. It is our policy to satisfy the needs of each and every student while providing them with a quality education. As such, all students will be required to sign a grievance procedure form stating that they understand the procedure. |
